I had my Pajero Sport giving me DPF issues after splitting one of the Intercooler hoses which is common on these models. My Mechanic flushed the DPF and after installing new Silicon Intercooler hoses and servicing with new oils and filters, the issue wouldn't go away. DPF Service required light still lit. After doing much research into Mechanics not understanding how to fix DPF problems and costing the average owner $100's if not $1000's with bugger all results and not wanting to fall into that black hole I came across PMA Auto Works, located in Ringwood, only 15 minutes from my home, I drove to the workshop and spoke to Peter Nyugen, the Managing Director, he asked me what had been done to rectify the problem, I explained all the process which was done but still the DPF light was showing. Peter plugged in the Diagnostic computer and within 5 minutes the problem was fixed. This guy is a legend and he knows his stuff. The workshop is fully equipped and they specialise in European cars which is good to know. I highly recommend PMA Auto Works. Great service, and prices. I received a reminder of my car service the day before. I received a message asking permission to complete extra work on car with photos which was good. The car was ready within 5 hours so very fast. PMA also wash the car. The only advice I would suggest is to verbally communicate with customers little bit more. For example when I dropped off my car, the young guy was polite and just said thank you. But he didn't say we will call you, he also didn't mention how long it would take and I had to prompt him otherwise I wouldn't know. However, I will use them again as I was overall happy. Show More

Literally stumbled across PMA auto when my work Ute blew a clutch. From the moment I met Peter I knew my car was in safe hands as he knew from the smell that my clutch was gone. He booked my car in for the next day and he also offered me a van in order for me to continue conducting my business. Car was ready at the agreed time and he also changed another part in the gearbox that was leaking oil at a very reasonable price. He also vacuumed and washed my car which was greatly appreciated. Fast forward a month I had a persistent rough idle that was concerning as I thought I was going to stall at the lights. At that particular time I took the car to another “highly regarded” motor mechanic that attempted to fix the problem only to advise I must change my injectors. After the work was carried out the problem persisted until I decided to once again take my car to PMA auto. Once again Peter booked my car in at a convenient time for me(Saturday morning) so no downtime on my business,conducted extensive diagnostic testing and finally fixed a bad ignition coil pack at the original price he quoted for diagnostic works. To say Im extremely satisfied is an understatement not only about the service I received but also that Peters honesty and integrity as a motor mechanic is greatly valued. Im also extremely happy that my car now feels great to drive again as it once did and I will certainly be referring Peter and PMA auto to all my family and work associates as he deserves it. Yesterday I presented to PMA Auto Works with a request to quote to install a dashcam I purchased on the internet. Peter and Jasper were excellent with their advice and gave me an excellent quote to install it directly.
